Frequently Asked Questions
Is ClockToolkit free? Yes — 100% free, forever.
We're ad-supported to keep the lights on.
Do I need to create an account? No. All tools
work instantly without registration.
How accurate is the clock? The clock syncs to
your device's system time. For millisecond-precision needs, check with
an NTP server.
Why is the weather not updating? Weather data
comes from Open-Meteo's free API. If the city isn't found, try a
larger nearby city or your coordinates.
Can I use this offline? Clock, stopwatch,
timers, alarm, pomodoro, date diff, Unix converter, and lunar tracker
all work offline. Weather and geocoding require internet.
Do alarms work when the tab is closed? Alarms
require the tab to remain open. We use the Web Audio API to ring — no
push notifications yet.
How is the lunar phase calculated? Using the
known New Moon epoch and the 29.53059-day synodic period to compute
current phase angle.
